On September 1st, with the successful production of the first ton of calcium carbide from the No.1 calcium carbide furnace in the annual 300,000-ton technical upgrade project, Ningxia Electric Power’s Yinglite Chemicals Co., LTD. under CHN Energy achieved a phase-wise result in constructing a new system for green and low-carbon cyclical development, marking a significant leap in its green transformation.

The calcium carbide technical modification project within annual production capacity of 300,000 tons boasts advantages such as low energy consumption, infrequent maintenance, excellent environmental protection effects, and a high safety factor. The successful trial production of the calcium carbide furnace has further enhanced the self-sufficiency rate of calcium carbide. This will play a positive role in reducing production costs and increasing benefits, continually driving the company's transformation and upgrade towards high-end, diversified, and low-carbon directions.
Prior to the trial production, the company established a realistic trial production target plan. Based on daily objectives, they meticulously scheduled, implemented, and supervised the trial production debugging tasks, ensuring the completion of day-to-day tasks. Daily coordination meetings were organized to receive updates on the calcium carbide project's progress from the project office, supervisory units, and construction units. They meticulously addressed any issues encountered during the trial production and debugging phase, formulating strategies and ensuring timely implementation. By intensifying on-site inspections, they strictly managed the quality, safety, and progress on-site, strengthening emergency safety supervision to ensure the successful accomplishment of all key objectives during the calcium carbide project's trial operation.
