On August 25th, the 100 MW wind power project of GD Power Development Co., LTD. under CHN Energy in Tongwei, Gansu, received approval from the Development and Reform Commission in Dingxi.
Located in Tongwei County, Dingxi, Gansu Province, the project intends to install total capacity of 100 MW with 18 units of 5.6 MW wind turbines and construct a new 110 kV booster station and a 10 MW/20 MWh facility for energy storage. Upon completion, the project is expected to deliver 216 million kWh of clean energy to the grid annually, with an average annual utilization time of 2160 hours. Compared to traditional fossil fuel power plants, the project can save approximately 62,000 tons of standard coal each year and reduce CO2 emissions by about 180,000 tons, offering strong economic, social, and environmental benefits at the same time.
