In August, Ningxia Power Co., LTD under CHN Energy achieved a single-month electricity generation of 100.88 billion kWh, breaking the 100-billion threshold for the first time in monthly electricity generation. This marks an increase of 312 million kWh compared to the same period last year, setting a new historical record for single-month electricity generation.

Since the beginning of summer, Ningxia Electricity Power Co., LTD. has diligently implemented the supply assurance plan of energy set forth by CHN Energy, with the establishment of a leadership team for supplying enough energy for the coming peak summer. The company has also set up regular meetings for supply assurance, formulating detailed work plans and checklists, and maintaining strict work discipline. In conjunction with CHN Energy's 100-day safety campaign, Ningxia Electricity Power Co., LTD. has enhanced the identification and mitigation of hidden safety risks to strengthen the operation and maintenance of power units, as well as closely monitoring changes in electrical load, and actively resolving safety risks such as high-load boiler slagging and frequent malfunction in the bottom slag system during the peak summer period. This has greatly improved the stability of power generation and supply.
The company has also enhanced integrated collaboration with relevant departments to optimize coal storage structures and fire coal with fine-tuned boiler, making full efforts to increase the generation capability of units in peak summer. The aim is to ensure that all units generate as much electricity as they can and fulfill their maximum output. In July and August, the electricity output repeatedly reached new highs, truly serving as a cornerstone for energy supply.
In order to fully prepare for energy demand during the summer peak period, the company has organized thematic competitions and activities. It has also comprehensively strengthened the management of marketing strategies and electricity plan, optimizing maintenance schedules and timelines of every unit, which has made full efforts to explore point-to-point electricity exportation and spot electricity markets among provinces.
By the end of August, Ningxia Electricity Power Co., LTD. has secured a total of 42.1 billion kWh of point-to-point electricity exportation and 11.66 billion kWh of provincial spot electricity. This has laid a solid foundation for maximizing electricity generation. Furthermore, the company has maintained a leading position in terms of hourly utilization in the Ningxia, Zhejiang, and Shandong markets.
